After School Art is a 4-week program happening every Tuesday, designed for young creatives eager to explore new art styles. Each month will feature a different theme to keep things fresh and exciting.
These sessions will be led by Lauren, who brings 16 years of art teaching experience where she created curriculums and grew her own successful youth art program. Now, she’s bringing her passion and expertise to The Art House to inspire the next generation of artists!

JANUARY - COLOR FUN
REGISTER HEREThis class is all about color! Students will learn about color theory and how colors work together. Each class will focus on a color fundamental that will include the color wheel, color harmonies and the value scale. Using acrylic paints we will explore and experiment how to blend, mix and discover what colors work best together to create colorful paintings.

FEBRUARY - POP ART!
REGISTER HEREStudents will be learning about the art style and the artists of the famous Pop Art movement. Pop Art is based on objects from pop culture such as movies and music. In this fun and vibrant art class we will be creating paintings using acrylics and other mixed media materials to make our own works based on the styles of Pop Art artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Let’s get popping!
