Hi lovelies, let me tell you a little bit about my life. My name is Valerie McKiernan and I live with my little fam bam right here in Gilbert, Arizona.
I’m married to the love of my life and my high school sweetheart, Kevin McKiernan and we have two beautiful and perfect little babes together. I became a mommy in March of 2012 to Hudsyn who is the biggest sunshine. She is the most amazing, confident and free-spirited little gal a mommy could ever ask for.
In May of 2014 I became a mommy for the second time to my perfect baby boy Stellen. He is the sweetest most gentle soul
whose smile can light up any room. He for sure is the best addition to our family and completes us all.
I graduated from NAU with a bachelor’s in Interior Design, Minor in Marketing and then went on to enjoy being a stay at home mom.
My husband is the owner and creator of Gilbert Now, which is right next door to us and keeps us up to date with all of Gilbert’s hottest news and happenings.
As a family we not only live in Gilbert, we play, dine, shop and are heavily involved in the Gilbert community so opening up shop in Gilbert was a no brainer. Gilbert to us provides the most perfect place to raise a family and live. The small town feel and the genuine local support of Gilbert just holds a special place in our hearts.
After purchasing the old tanning salon for investment purposes my hubby came to me and told me that he would love for me to do “my crazy idea”.
We went forth with “my crazy idea” and created The Art House Gilbert.
I wanted a space for creativity and art to come together in a pleasing and on trend environment where people could come and gather to make memories and have a great time. I’ve always loved art, crafting and hosting parties so a creative venue just seemed like the perfect combination of it all. An upscale entertainment facility (minus the plethora of amazing dining spots) seemed to be lacking in Gilbert. Whether I turned for something unique to do with my husband for date nights, friends for a girls night out or even something to do with my babes that would be evenly as enjoyable for them as for me, the place I had always wished for had not existed. So here we are.
My hopes are for The Art House to flourish and be a place for young and old to enjoy themselves and make lasting memories right here in the heart of Gilbert.
